چکیده

Salt stress is a serious and current global problem for crops. Due to climate change, the soil today has higher salinity levels than in past decades. Identifying temperature, light, that allow plants germinate grow an ambitious challenge future. Hibiscus sabdariffa (H. sabdariffa) plant undergoes abiotic during all stages of growth. The aim this work was identify best conditions terms germination growth phases H. sabdariffa. To improve seed, effects were investigated three experiments. In first experiment, factors included light at two (light dark cycles) temperature eight (5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40 °C). second effect examined seven (0, 60, 90, 120, 150, 180 mM NaCl). third consisted seed halopriming (0 NaCl 24 h) highest rate (GR), seedling dry weight, uniformity obtained 30 °C conditions, as reported by one-way Anova analysis. Germination restricted temperatures lower 5 °C, respectively. By increasing salinity, characteristics decreased, but these less pronounced halopriming. most suitable planting date spring, when range 25–35 °C. During stage, tea sensitive low soils. Halopriming can be performed enhancing GR emergence percentage.

The effect of salinity on seed germination, early seedling growth and anatomical structure of Beta vulgaris

Beta vulgaris belongs to the family Amaranthaceae and was found to have halophytic ancestors. The objective of this study was to investigate the effect of sodium chloride on seed germination, therefore the early stages of seedling growth of Beta vulgaris grown under different salinity levels (0, 100, 150 and 200 mM of NaCl) were studied. The experiment was laid out in a completely randomized de...

Effect of Salinity on Germination and Seedling Growth of Lentils

In order to evaluate effect of salinity on germination and early seedling growth of lentils a laboratory experiment was conducted at Biotech Research Center of the University of Zabol, in 2011. The experimental design was a completely randomized with five NaCl solution, together with seven replicates. The seeds were germinated in Petri dishes, on with 10 mL of either double-distilled water (con...

Comparative Effects of Hydropriming and Halopriming on Germination Performance of Secale montanum Guss. under Salinity Stress

Salinity stress is one of the most important abiotic stress factors limiting the plants' growth. Seed priming is known as a method which improves the germination performance in seeds in stress conditions. The objective of this study was to compare the effectiveness of Hydropriming and Halopriming on germination performance of Secale montanum while growing under the NaCl-salinity stress. Hydropr...

Effect of Cadmium Levels on Seed Germination and Seedling Growth of Spinach (Spinacia oleracea) Under Salinity Stress

Cadmium is highly toxic heavy metal. Soil factors such as pH, caution exchange capacity, CaCO3 content and salinity have a significant influence on Cd uptake by plants. Moreover, soil salinity has a great impact on crop yield in Iran. Therefore, the effect of four salt levels (0, 45, 90, 180 mM) of NaCl solutions and four concentrations (0, 15, 30, 60 ppm) of Cadmium sulfate solutions on seed g...

Effect of seed priming with selenium nanoparticles and plant growth promoting rhizobacteria on improving Quinoa seedling growth under salinity stress

Soil and water salinity are the most important problems that limit crop production, especially in the arid and semi-arid regions. This study was conducted to investigate the effect of growth-promoting bacteria and selenium nanoparticle pretreatment on increasing the tolerance of the Chenopodium quinoa plant to salinity. A factorial experiment was conducted in a completely randomized design with...
